I just wanted to share something that has helped me prioritize where my finances are allocated.
- I set a budget for my monthly expenses from my net income.
- I then take the remainder and divvy it up there ways.
- These three categories are broken down as follows:
A. Needs
B. Emergency
C. Wants
It's helped me to be conscious of exactly what my money is being used for.
The key is that savings needs to be allocated as a percentage of your Gross income first. You'll be amazed what you can accomplish!
