While savings is important, the little bit of interest is also important. I have an account that pays 0% monthly. You know what I'm in the process of doing? Yep, changing accounts.

I tried to open a savings account at the bank with my checking account. I wanted it to be 100% separate from it, its own bank card and its online banking system. I wanted those things to make it harder to withdrawal / move to checking on a whim. They said no. My financial goal for this week is to finish this task. The steps are:
