It was Oct 22nd, I was asleep in my bed, new baby on one side & pillow on the other. Legacy ER had called to notify me that my mother was brought it by paramedics for rapid breathing…. At 10pm I put on my shoes , wrapped my daughter up and hit the door to zoom over to her house. Asleep layed the heads of my six siblings… Who would soon be my responsibility as I took the new role of guardian. The next few weeks were scrambled with new placement, work call outs, rental agreements, and the worst was yet to come……
