I've been in a relationship for ten years and engaged for five. We have a six year old daughter and I'm to the point where I no longer see it beneficial to me in any way to stay. I'm going to start looking for my own place but I'm terrified to start all over again
I was in that place 8 years ago and am again in it (albeit a bit differently as there's no relationship just a cost of living issue that requires a move), I won't lie to you it's hard, but it's so worth it. When you find that you are ok and better on your own, it's worth it

I started over with a two year old and a six year old and an eight year old. It was hard. My children are grown now. I am glad that I. Was strong enough to get away from a dangerous husband. We did fine.
You should never stay in a relationship for convenience at the cost of your happiness. Your child will know the difference between a mom that is drifting through life unsatisfied and a happy mom that is engaged in their life.
